Does anyone use the Dr. Pitcairn diets?

I've used them because my dogs has medical issues. They are great but a lot of work. I found a happy medium by buying Dr. Harvey's mix which is organic combination of vegetables and carbs and fruit that provide the needed calcium and micro nutrients and vitamins and then I add partially cooked protein and oil. the mix takes care of me worrying if I am missing anything essential and figuring out the correct amount of all these different ingredients.. the prep takes no more than 8 minutes on days when I am preparing the mix and protein in advance and can be as short as 4 minutes.

Stiff suspension, what to do?

My suspension is uber stiff. I have to go over speed bumps at a crawl, and can feel every little crack in the road, even the ones filled with tar. Really. I can try pushing on the bumper, but to get it to move more than a 1/4" I have to stand and jump on it, and even then it only moves maybe 2 inches. It levels out fine after that, there's no wobble or anything (obviously). If I'm changing lanes and there is a small pothole as I'm moving across, the rear end actually bounces up and slightly drifts, scary stuff. It's a 1/2 ton truck.

My house was built in 1959 and is truly brick (load bearing). The windows are obviously from that era and are long and short. What is making me allergic to fruit and how do I treat it?

Any time I eat fruit (a single strawberry, a couple bites of an apple, a piece of banana, gs, etc.) or drink real fruit juice (not as intense with citrus fruits but still sensitive to those) my face feels cold and clammy and I feel like I'm going to throw up. This greatly limits my diet and since I can't stomach regular sugar very well I like to fix my sweet tooth with fruit. Dog barking in apartment?

I had my dog a long time and hes really mean because we found him on the street with no collar. Okay, so I am at work. I was introduced to the istant of one of the VPs that I work with. One because we are having a retreat next week and I sent out Myers-Briggs test to everyone invited and they are due back today. So, one of the attendees stops in. Tooth feels loose? It's a permanent tooth?

Ok, so randomly one of my bottom canine teeth feel wiggly and kind of sensitive. I don't know why, i havent had any accidents like hitting my tooth or anything, and i dont think i grind my teeth while sleeping. I'm not positive if it is for sure wiggling, but it feels like it. If it is, i tried to see if it was and i cant feel a huge difference but it just feels weird... i brush my teeth daily and use dental floss and mouth wash so i dont have dirty teeth or cavities that i know of. what could this be? is this normal and will it just eventually feel normal again?

In my experience, the dog involved was neutered at 6 months or earlier, before ual maturity and probably had aggressive tendencies to begin with due to temperament, lack of socialization or genetic predisposition. Since true aggressive problems usually show up in male dogs around 9-12 months and continue to get worse as the dog ages, people tend to blame the neutering and not the fact the dog had issues to begin with. Help with IC PLEASE, I need information.?

Ok, I was just diagnosed with IC through a VERY painful Potium Serum Test. End result was they decided that I had IC. They through a lot of information at me, and scheduled me with for 6 DMSO installation appointments and want me to start on Elmiron immediately for a year. I am totally overwhelmed and need some feedback. Has anyone had success with the DMSO treatments and/or Elmiron. I use acupuncture to treat my endo and would prefer to use diet and acu to treat this. I have recently been looking into russian military capabilities. Now, im soundly convinced that the USA can pretty much dominate the air. In an event where America had to fight the Russians, my guess would be that gaining Air Superiority would take priority, and in fact wouldn't be all that difficult. One thing however is that the Russians do occasionally come up with good weapons (despite their notoriously low production quality) that can hurt us. In the event the Russians try to go for a ground front, mainly made up of tanks, the response would be to enact our Apache Attack Helicopter divisions to decimate the russian tanks. However, I find it doubtful that we have enough Apaches in our arsenal to completely fend of the whole of the Russian tank divisions. Undoubtedly, we would likely use lots of our air power to take out as many tanks as possible, but I imagine that our air front would be quite busy fending off any russian aircraft trying to dominate the air space. So that leaves us with using our own tanks. Right now, the Abrams is our main battle tank. I believe that its a solid piece of weaponry and could stand up to large numbers of tanks. Unfortunately, we don't have nearly enough tanks to match Russia. Russian battle tactics dictate that in an encounter with other enemy tanks, they go for a 9 vs 1 tank battle ratio. In other words, they try to manipulate the field so that its 9 of theirs to every 1 of ours. While the Abrams is a notably strong tank, its very hard to say who would win. From what i understand, the current main battle tanks in Russia are the T-80U and the T-90A Vladimir. These tanks in my opinion are real solid weapons. What i want to know, hands down one on one, who would win in an encounter. Also, if the abrams wins, how many would it be able to take on at one time. IF the russian tanks win, how many Abrams would it take to defeat one then.

I have to agree with the majority, cats are the only domesticated (up to a point) animal that I would consider neurotic. IMO, dogs are the epitome of a pure soul. From my experience, in order to get accepted to a respected PhD program you must not do your education online. I have yet to meet or hear of anyone doing a PhD after doing an online degree. The program you are describing seems like a decent distance learning program, but they just aren't well respected in academia.

So why can we carry guns and not swords?

Thought of this recently, as a major sword fanatic. Guns seem infinitely more deadly due to longer range and increased "invisibility", as in can hide the pistol much easier than the sword. Both can be used in self defense, and the biggest obstacle to swords being worse is the "unlimited ammo" factor, which kinda is made up for by extremely limited range. i travel with my chi all the time i feed her as normal before a trip and then i just stop at every other rest stop they are usually quite a distance apart and im usually ready for a break myself by the time i get to one. i also keep her some bottled water and i give it to her when i stop at the rest stops. and dont keep her caged the whole trip my chi loves to roam around the vehicle and she especially love laying my my back window where the sun hits her and she can see whats going on. hope this helps

How hot should the water leaving my central heating boiler be?

Most boilers run at around 75 to 80 C. If your house is not getting hot you have a few things to consider. 1. is house thermostat working. 2. is the boiler thermostat actually working or is it cutting off at low temp. 3. most systems have what is called a motorised valve. This valve diverts water to where ever the call for heat is. If this valve is no opening then water will not be circulating. This valve is normally located near boiler in a galvanised box. On one end is a lever that you can move to over ride the valve. Sometimes these get stuck after not being used all summer. CH system should be kicked in once a month to keep it up and running. 4. Is the circulation pump running. Put your hand on it and feel for vibration. Hope this somehow helps.

What could I do with a Masters in Linguistics?

I'll be graduating with my BA in Linguistics from McGill soon, and after I'm going to teach ESL abroad for a few years to travel, raise money for grad school, and see if I like teaching or not. I could go into something with a more defined career path, such as Library Science or Speech Pathology. But I'm very tempted to go for my Masters in Linguistics, as it still holds the most interest for me. What would my career options be? Would I be better off as a Librarian or Speech Pathologist?

Am i weird, for not being able to continue with my life after seperation with my ex girl friend.?

Hi in February I split with my girlfriend who i was with for 3 years. It has made me really depressed and lonely. I can't stop thinking and everything reminds me of her. I really did want to get back with her, so I spoilt her for her birthday in April I brought her a kitten because her old cat died in March and many other gifts such as flowers sent to her work. I love her more than anything when i see her or i see her name on my phone i get erflies. The problem we have is she an abortion last year and both of us have struggled to cope, and she has said to me she struggles to look at me now without thinking what if. My ex has had problems financially in which she came to me and i borrowed her money to pay her debts off because of what we have both been through there is still that understanding. Unfortunately last weekend things got blown out of proportion in which I feel guilty of now. I borrowed my ex �600 last friday because she had a early pay day loan off the internet. She was very thankful and things for her at home have been tough for her lately, because she has not been speaking to her parents. Anyway that Friday night my ex was messaging me, I had wanted to meeet her to sort some stuff out as i am still supposed to be going to Turkey with her in September and the money issues. My ex said it would be a good idea to go somewhere on the Tuesday were nowbody would now us, so i text my manager at work to book the day off, and i planned the day out to go to Weston super mare, because we had a great weekend together there last summer. That night my ex also told me she still loved me (i can't explain the feeling when she told me that it was surreal), she also asked what i was doing at the time and asked where we could go to meet, i then messaged my ex back but she did not reply so i guessed she had fallen asleep. That night i went to sleep feeling the happiest man in the world. The next morning i woke up at 6.30am, i new my ex had work at 10am, so i messaged saying whether i could take her for breakfast and to work, she agreed to meet me. Unfortunately when she was in my car, she said she did still love me but was not in love with me anymore. When I arrived at her work she got out the car and run off, i decided to catch her up, in which she was crying saying it was too hard to look at me and told me not to hug her. She therefore walked off and i found the nearest bench and sat down to calm down, as this really hurt me. Therefore through out the day i was messaging my ex, she was giving out the attitude to leave her alone whilst she was at work, which i was fine with and i appologised for, even though she had been messaging me the day before when i was at work to tell me about her financial problems etc. That evening i was in my local pub watching the football and after the game whilst sitting in the beer garden with my friends, i got upset and rang up my ex, and told her that if she did not meet me the next day i would tell her mum and dad about her problems, but knowing she was with her boyfriend, i got jealous and angry and demanded that she met me straight away, i therefore went home got in my car, in which i was over the limit, i picked her up from the same place i had picked her up on the morning. I then realised after what she told me night before, she ended up staying there whilst i was at home thinking of a happy future together a bit naive to say the least. Whilst driving i pulled up on a quiet street and my ex kept on saying about how her new bf had dumped her etc, this then made me snap and like an idiot i began lashing out on my own car, causing damage, my ex then left to go back to the pub i picked her up from, i then followed her back, in which she told me to go before she rang police saying i was drinking and driving. I was so upset and angry i went to my ex's parents, who i consider second parents, whilst there i completely gred my ex up about her financial problems the lot, i also got drunk stopped the night and attempted an over dose, i now feel the most stupid person on the planet, and have tried since messaging my ex to appologise.

How to clean white garden stones?

hi there, i have a small courtyard that is covered in white garden stones, however they've gone a bit grim. we're renting but moving shortly so need/want to get them to a reasonable standard before we move. any ideas on the best/cheapest/efficient way to get them looking half decent. i really don't want to have to pick them all up to clean them. i had thought of a pressure washer but i'm told that this would not be wise as the stones would fly up and hit the gl doors (and me!). any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance

What type of soffit vents to add?

I recently had my roof redone and went with a ridge vent along both my house and detached garage. The problem is I have vented soffit on my house but my garage has nothing. I have one gable vent that i plan on blocking off after I install the soffit vents. Im just wondering what is the most common way to go about putting these vents in without replacing the soffit. I dont want to mess with the existing siding as its pretty new and really nice. Im debating on whether those 2-6" round pvc vents would look better in the soffit or just add the regular rectangle ones. Im thinking the rectangle ones will look tacky just screwed to the exitsting unvented soffit. Im leaning towards just gettting some of the 3" round white ones to match, and putting me a few of those in...opinions?

For years I was told I had better than 20/20 vision. For the past few years I having been getting signs of slight nearsightedness. My ophthalmologist told me the other day that I have 20/30 vision (I am blind in the other eye), so I don't know if I still have great vision and it has simply declined slightly or if it less than perfect now. Anyone enjoy the humanness of the medical drama E.R. seeing what the characters go through?

I think it is always interesting to watch episodes of the medical series ER and just see how the characters interact with each other, bond, get frustrated, sob through the bad times, and laugh through the good times. I think that is very interesting in many ways. Like seeing the how Doug mentored Mark and looked out for him while opening up his own troubles to Carol was really deep to see. And the same thing with how Benton mentored Carter who in turn mentored Pratt. Even Jing-Mei made a fuss when she found out Carter had to go to alcohol rehabilitation because she was very scared and worried for him. It just shows how the human attachment can grow very deeply with habit. You will have your frustrations but as long as there are others there to hear you out and feel for you then the "pain" of life is easier to handle. It lets you laugh at bad stuff in retrospect and embrace a newer, fresher, sense of hopefulness and joy in moving forward so you can take everything you enjoy about being alive and just fill yourself up with those positive thoughts before you enter that rest known as death. No more hugs, no more kisses, but also no more yelling, no more pain.
